About NFESD:
The National Forum for Environment and Sustainable Development (NFESD) is a Yemeni civil, non-governmental, non-profit organization that was established in Yemen in 2021. The forum is working in areas related to the environment, sustainable development in Yemen.
About the Role:
NFESD recognizes the importance of data in making informed decisions, tracking progress, and demonstrating impact. As a Data and Reports Specialist Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our data management, analysis, and reporting efforts, contributing to the overall effectiveness and transparency of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Assist with data entry, data cleaning, and data organization to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis using appropriate statistical methods and software to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Report Writing: Prepare clear and concise reports that effectively communicate data analysis findings and recommendations.
- Data Visualization: Create visually appealing charts, graphs, and other visualizations to present data in a compelling and understandable way.
- Database Management: Assist with database management tasks, including data entry, data retrieval, and data maintenance.
- Data Collection: Support data collection efforts, including surveys, interviews, and field observations.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities by analyzing data and preparing reports on program performance.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with large datasets.
- Experience in data analysis, data management, reporting, or related fields is desirable but not required.
- Fluency in local languages is an asset.
